1 Inspection: first, check whether there are cracks on the ground. Cracks are the main channel for upward seepage of groundwater. Regular cracks usually appear along the longitudinal or transverse direction of the room, and are formed by material shrinkage and cracking. Then check whether there is hollowing on the ground. Before painting, the surface course shall be roughened, cleaned, and painted with two layers of waterproof paint. Force shall be applied during the first painting to make it go deep into the capillary hole. After the first coating is dry (usually about 24 hours), the second coating is applied, so as to form an overall waterproof coating.
